| India | Law and practice in India. Due to British rule between the eighteenth century and the mid-twentieth century, the legal system in India has many of its roots in British tradition. |
| | | Industrial Injury and Compensation | Injuries resulting from accidents at work. Compensation can be claimed following such injuries, and damages paid, if the employer is proven to be negligent. |
| | | Injunctions | An order given by a civil court to a person to stop doing something; or (more rarely) to do something they are not already doing. |
| | | Inland Waterways | The legal issues relating to inland waterways such as rivers or canals. Covers territorial disputes, rights of passage, the carriage of goods, fishing rights and other matters. |

| | | International Commercial Arbitration | A method of resolving international commercial disputes without resorting to the courts. The confidentiality of the proceedings is often the major attraction. |
| | | International Practice | A firm of solicitors that operates internationally through overseas connections or its own offices. It may employ foreign-qualified lawyers. |
| | | International Trade | The law relating to the exchange of goods and services between nations. Legal issues can relate to tariffs and government restrictions on export and import, as well as the contracts between the trading partners. |
| | | Investment | Where money is laid out for income or profit. |
| | | Inward Investment | Legal advice and assistance to foreign investors seeking to invest in the UK. |
