| Debt Recovery | The processes whereby money that has been loaned, with a prior contract or promise in place, is recovered. |
| | | Defamation/Libel and Slander | Defamation refers to injury of a person's good name or reputation by a third party. If the defamatory comments are written down, published or broadcast this is known as libel; if oral, or in another non-permanent form, it is slander. |
| | | Defence Contracts | Contracts for the production and supply of military equipment. |
| | | Disasters | Dealing with claims for injury and damage to property caused by natural or man-made disasters. |
| | | Discrimination | Unfair or unequal treatment of somebody because of his or her age, sex, race, religion or disability. |
