In addition, its expertise in dealing with other medical accidents leading to serious injury, in particular birth trauma and anaesthetic accidents is widely recognised. The department is franchised by the Legal Services Commission and the partners are approved by AvMA and/or the Law Society as specialists.
Dispute resolution: the dispute resolution department handles a highly specialised range of work. The partners have particular expertise in negligence claims, contractual disputes and complex debt recovery.
Divorce: the divorce department aims to achieve fair solutions for its clients amid a rapidly changing legal landscape. The department acts in high-net-asset and complex divorce cases and has grown rapidly in the last 12 months.
Aviation: the aviation department at Stewarts is the UK’s only claimant aviation practice acting predominantly for overseas claimants. In the last 12 months, instructions have been received a number of international air disasters. The department has also received instructions in relation to numerous light aircraft and helicopter crashes for UK and international clients.
