We aim to provide efficient and cost effective legal services to private individuals and businesses throughout the East Kent region and to keep our clients informed in plain English of developments in their cases.
The firm is organised into departments whose members specialise within the departments.
The Conveyancing department deals with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions and landlord and tenant cases.
The Commercial department provides legal services to small and medium sized businesses and will co-ordinate the provision of legal services for business clients from our other departments.
The Litigation department deals with contract disputes and negligence claims. Members of the department also specialise in employment law cases for both the employer and employee.
The Personal Injury department deals with all accident cases. We have special expertise in dealing with head and spinal injury claims of the utmost severity. The department has members of The Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and Headway.
The Family department deals with all aspects of disputes arising from relationship breakdowns including financial or property issues and children matters. Members of the department also have specialist expertise in dealing with adoption and child care cases. It has members of The Law Society’s Family Panel and the Resolution Advanced Family Panel.
The Private Client department deals with all aspects of Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax planning and discretionary trusts and general tax planning matters. The department deals with Trust administration, Probate and the administration of estates and Court of Protection cases. The department also deals with the protection of client assets and the general affairs of the elderly.
It has members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly. |
